Overview of Application

Overview

In cooperation with various companies and institutions in Japan and overseas, Yokohama City is working to develop high value-added products and services, create new businesses, and solve social issues using new technologies through open innovation.
This time, TBS Midoriyama Studio, which has a large-scale studio facility in Yokohama, will be conducting a demonstration experiment on the theme of "[DX x Facilities] Demonstration Experiments to Create the Future".
In carrying out, we plan to digitize equipment and solicit proposals for equipment, products, and services that realize comfortable and attractive facilities for facility users and visitors.

※The start time and period will be adjusted individually according to the content of the proposal.

Implementation site

Facilities operated and managed by Midoriyama Studio City
(Setting space where outdoor and props are the primary storage area, handling area where garbage is separated, etc.)

Cost of activities All expenses required for demonstration experiments will be borne by the applicant.

Major facility issues and solutions

1. Security
 ・Review of entrance system (e.g. electronic management of entrance and exit, IC chip / QR code entry certificate)
 ・Efficient monitoring of the entire site (e.g. monitoring of site boundaries using infrared rays and drones)

2. Labor saving in facility management
 ・Efficiency and labor saving of cleaning (e.g. automation of cleaning robots, lunch boxes and kitchen garbage sorting work)
 ・Efficiency and labor saving of transportation (e.g., self-driving vehicles for the automatic transportation of art materials)

3. Effective use of site and expansion of functions
 ・Eliminate parking problems (e.g. smart parking using sensors, beacons, etc.)

4. Environment
 ・Effective use of environmentally conscious measures (e.g., use of surplus heat from solar-temperature water panels in summer)
 ・Reduction of energy consumption (e.g. use of EVs and PHEVs)

5. Measures against pests and pests
 ・Thorough control of pests (e.g. blocking invasion with sounds and light that animals hate) Intrusion of pests
 ・Prevention of outbreaks (e.g. high-precision sensors that detect infiltration, AI cameras)

6. Others
 ・Improvement of attractiveness of facilities (e.g. effective transmission of events and events, heat shielding, light shielding and automatic ventilation using IoT products)

Eligibility

  1. Ideas for products and services have been embodied, and an environment in place where demonstration experiments can be conducted immediately, such as already having prototypes. (After adoption, prototype development will begin, and if it takes a certain period of time to demonstrate products and services, it will be deemed that you are not eligible to apply.)
  2. Products and services currently under concept that have not yet been sold (commercialized) by the applicant entity. (However, if you are planning a new business targeting customers in other fields that are different from existing products and services that have already been launched, you will be deemed eligible if the new business under concept matches the theme of this demonstration experiment.)
  3. The proposal is a new product or service that matches the purpose and theme, and the facility operated and managed by Midoriyama Studio City hopes and plans to conduct a demonstration experiment of products and services for a certain period of time. If you wish or do not plan a demonstration experiment on a new product or service (for example, only wish to match with Midoriyama Studio City), you will be deemed not eligible for the application.
  4. Intention to conduct demonstration experiments of products and services using advanced technologies such as AI and IoT.
  5. There must be plans and intentions to commercialize products and services to be conducted in Yokohama City.
  6. In conducting the demonstration experiment, there is an intention to make the initial cost and use of services during the period free of charge.
  7. Registered in the e-mail magazine issued by the Economic Affairs Bureau Innovation Promotion Division of Yokohama City.
