For building personnel who have installed sprinkler equipment

Due to the earthquake that occurred off the coast of Fukushima Prefecture on February 13, 2021, the sprinkler equipment installed in some buildings were damaged, causing water damage.
In the sprinkler equipment, in addition to water discharge by detecting a fire, the pipe may be damaged due to an accident or disaster, and the water may erupt. Therefore, it is necessary to correctly remember the procedure for stopping water discharge of sprinkler equipment and prepare for emergencies.

How to deal with damage or water leakage

After confirming that it is not a fire, specify the leak location.
Please perform the following work promptly and in parallel.

1.Close control valve

Go to the control valve room of the grid at the leak point, close the control valve, and stop water.

2.Pump stop

Go to the pump room and press the pump stop button on the control panel to stop the pump.

3.Contact the construction or inspection contractor immediately and try to recover as soon as possible.

Take separate fire extinguishing measures while the fire extinguishing equipment is stopped.
