About prohibited act in designated place
According to the provisions of Article 28 of the Yokohama City Fire Prevention Ordinance (Yokohama City Ordinance No. 70 of December 1973), theaters and department stores are subject to restrictions on "smoking", "use of open flames" and "importable items for fire prevention".

Prohibited Uses and Designated Places
According to the "Place designated by the fire chief pursuant to the provisions of Article 28, Paragraph 1 of the Yokohama City Fire Prevention Ordinance" (City of Yokohama, Fire Bureau Notification No. 3 of June 1992), prohibited uses and designated places are determined as follows. I am.
- Stages of theaters, cinemas or theaters or audience seats
- Stage or audience seats of the viewing hall (for smoking, excluding outdoor seats and all floors made of non-combustible materials)
- Stage or seating of public hall or assembly hall (except for non-combustible butt containers for smoking)
- Department stores, markets and other stores or exhibition halls that sell goods (with a total floor area of 1,000 square meters or more for the purpose), exhibition part, or part where ordinary customers enter and exit (for smoking, the cafeteria part Excludes places where non-combustible butt containers are located.)
- Sales floor or exhibition part of the underground shopping mall
- Designated as an Important Cultural Property, Important Tangible Folk Cultural Property, Historic Site or Important Cultural Property under the provisions of the Cultural Property Protection Act (Act No. 214 of 1950), or the Act on the Preservation of Old Important Art Goods (Act No. 43 of 1933) Inside or around a building that is recognized as an important art item (excluding events and equipment that use fire that are used on a daily basis in the case of open flame)
- Stages of cabarets, nightclubs, dance halls or restaurants (with a total floor area of 1,000 square meters or more for the purpose)
- Parts where entertainment is held at inns, hotels or accommodations (for smoking, excluding places used for meetings, banquets, etc. with non-combustible butts containers)
- The part where a set for shooting a movie studio or TV studio is provided.
- Part to be used for parking in indoor parking lots with a capacity of 50 or more cars
- Public traffic for fire prevention objects listed in Appendix 1 of the Fire Services Act Enforcement Ordinance (Government Ordinance No. 37 of 1961) (excluding fire prevention objects listed in each paragraph from (17) to (20)) Part to be used for traffic of those with a length of 50 meters or more
Prohibited acts
In principle, the following acts are prohibited at designated locations.
- Smoking
A series of actions that are ignited and smoked with matches or lighters. In addition to previously assumed cigarettes, the use of heated tobacco is also included in smoking.
- Open flame
"Flame", "fire sparks" and "things that are used with the heat generation area exposed to the outside".
- Dangerous goods for fire prevention
It is a high risk of causing a fire or spreading a fire, and is stipulated in Article 11 of the Yokohama City Fire Prevention Regulations (Yokohama City Regulations No. 23, March 1974) Goods ".
Others
- If the fire chief finds that there is no problem in fire prevention, you can get approval for prohibited activities.
