[56th] Midori Ward Environmental Lecture was held on Zoom.

　On Saturday, February 26, Midori Ward Environmental Lecture "Think together! Global warming and our future" was held on Zoom. On the day, 73 people, from elementary school students to elderly people in their 80s and over, participated.

　This time, I invited Professor Seita Emori of the National Institute for Environmental Studies, National Research and Development Agency, who is the main author of the Fifth and Sixth Assessment Reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

　 In order to achieve decarbonization, for example, smoke separation and smoking cessation have become the mainstream in the past, where smoking was once commonplace, such as "separation of smoke," and a "large change in society" involving changes in people's view of the world is essential. To that end, it was very impressive to say that it is important for each person to be interested in global warming and to talk about it, and to support companies that are working on decarbonization.

　In the Q & A session after the lecture, 38 questions were asked, and in the participant questionnaire, 91% of respondents answered that "it was very helpful" and "it was helpful." In the free description column, "The explanation of the causes of global warming was very easy to understand," "I want to incorporate what I can do now into my life thinking of the earth several decades later," "People and companies that have an impact on society." I would like to expect the power of the participants, indicating the high interest of the participants. "
