[2nd] A commendation ceremony for traffic safety distinguished persons was held

　On April 20, the Midori Ward Road Safety Achievement Awards Ceremony was held at the ward office.
　This award expresses gratitude to individuals and organizations who have worked hard for traffic safety and prevention of accidents for many years, such as providing guidance on traffic safety on the streets. The award was given by the Midori Ward Traffic Safety Council, which consists of traffic safety-related organizations in the ward, including Midori police department, the Midori Ward Traffic Safety Association and the ward office.
　This year, 12 individuals and two groups were awarded, and on the day of the award ceremony, a certificate of commendation and a souvenir were presented to the seven and two groups who attended.
　In Midori Ward, we are engaged in a variety of activities, including traffic safety campaigns in front of the station, clean campaigns to prevent bicycles from being left unattended at four stations in the ward, and safety measures for school roads in response to requests from elementary school school zone councils.
　In order to prevent traffic accidents, it is important that each and every one observes traffic rules and works to improve traffic manners. We will constantly call for traffic safety through various initiatives so that even one traffic accident can be reduced.
