On Saturday, November 6 and Sunday, July 7, we held "Children's Town Development Event Mini Mini Midori" at the Yamashita Regional Exchange Center, and about 200 children came.
Mini MiniMi Midori is an event where participants work as a ward and enjoy shopping and playing in a town for children who are not allowed to speak. The Children's Executive Committee is a central member who considers the structure of the town, and will also play an active role as the store manager on the day of the child's town development event.
It was scheduled to be held last year, but unfortunately, due to the effects of the new coronavirus infection, we abandoned the event format, and instead the children's executive committee promoted Mini Mini Midori PR video (presentation video, animation "Children's Town Mini" Let's go to Mini Midori ", Rrap dance" Mini Midori School Song "). It was a fun and memorable work.
This year, the state of emergency was also lifted, but the number of visitors was limited to 50 each time, taking measures such as temperature measurement, and other measures were taken. Despite the restrictions on activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 38 children's executive committee members have held six meetings six times, planning and preparing the structure and work of the town, and welcoming this day.
On the day, various shops handmade by the children's executive committee, such as broadcasting stations, banks, general stores, and game corners, appeared, and the children who participated worked part-time in the town while shining their eyes, and earned money (middle) I was learning about the structure of society while having fun shopping, playing games, buying lotteries, and buying lottery tickets. When a problem occurred with the operation of a town or shop, I remembered that I was trying to solve it myself.
We carried out "Director General election" of town of child, and three people of Director General, deputy Director General, deputy mayor were decided (vote turnout 83.1%). I'm looking forward to coming to the Midori Ward office this time.
This time, companies and universities in the city also cooperated. An electronic craft class (music box production) by Murata Mfg. appeared, Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd. MUJIcom Beans Nakayama provided the residue used for general stores, and novelty goods from the Bank of Yokohama Nakayama Branch. I received it. In addition, 14 students from Toyo Eiwa University and Flat Garden, a general incorporated association, also participated as the operation staff on the day.
