[50th session] Congratulations on the "Excellence Award" of the "Activity to Brighten Society" Essay Contest!

We divided into two days, Thursday, February 3 and Monday, July 7, and visited Kirigaoka Gakuen Elementary School and Tana Junior High School together with Chairman Kimura Conservation Chairman.
The Movement to Brighten Society aims to create a safe and secure society free of crime and delinquency (see the June 2021 edition of the Public Relations Yokohama Midori Ward edition). In Midori Ward, organizations such as the Presidency, the Women's Association for Rehabilitation, the Union of Neighborhood Association and the police.

An essay contest is held every year, and this time, Midori Ward selected six awards for excellence. (4 works at Kirigaoka Gakuen Elementary School, 2 works in Tana)
Now, with the spread of infectious diseases, schools are also holding remote morning meetings, so we borrow that time and take them in front of a camera or tablet with camera (!) A certificate of commendation was awarded to all of the winners. I felt a little bit like YouTuber.

The winners also commented, "I am happy to be able to participate in a campaign to brighten society through this essay and receive such an award."
As I read the composition, I seemed to feel the compassion and appreciation of the other person, and the importance of daily greetings, triggered by the little everyday things.
As a result of these efforts, I felt that the seeds of a safe and secure community development will be passed on to the next generation. An essay contest will be held in the next fiscal year, so please apply as many applications.
