On April 22, "Reiwa 3.4 Yokohama City Consumer Affairs Promotion Member Midori Ward commission letter transmission ceremony" was held at the ward office. .
Consumer affairs promotion members are recommended by each Neighborhood Association to promote safe and comfortable consumer life in the community, and the mayor commissions for a two-year term. Every day, we are working hard to hold awareness-raising courses on consumer problems in familiar areas and watch over the elderly.
In this fiscal year, Midori Ward commissioned 107 people.
At the beginning of the day, we presented a letter of appreciation to those who have been involved in activities for many years, such as serving as the district representative of the consumer affairs promotion staff, and then transmitted a letter of commission to the representatives of the district. .
Originally, all members of the Consumer Affairs Promotion Committee should come out and give a letter of commission directly, but it is also a period of priority measures such as the COVID-19 pandemic, prevention of spread, and only the representatives gather and other representatives have taken the method of handing over from representatives.
In recent years, the content of products and services surrounding consumers has become complicated, and troubles have occurred one after another. Especially for elderly people who spend a long time at home and are said to have a lot of health and financial concerns. In order to prevent such troubles beforehand, it is effective not only for the person to be careful, but also for family members and members of the Consumer Affairs Promotion Team to perform "watching over" and "calling out" .
Even if we assume ward office, we borrow power of all of you and send information about consumer life and aim at prevention of trouble beforehand.
