　75 cherry trees are planted on the riverbed from Kamoi Station on the Tsurumi River to the small desk, and it is entertaining many people as a place to relax. It is also a famous place for cherry blossoms.

　At the time of the typhoon two years ago, some cherry blossom branches broke, and fortunately there was no human damage and it did not matter, but in response to this, a tree doctor inspected all cherry blossoms.
　The inspection was to visually check the decay status of trees, and to confirm the adhesion of mushrooms such as Bekkotake and Kobukitake.
　As a result, for trees with mushrooms attached, the cavity rate was measured at the root of 0 cm from the ground and at the base of around 20 cm, and found that 40 to 50% of the five trees The cavity rate was confirmed. If left untouched, there is a danger of falling trees when strong winds such as typhoons occur, so we decided to cut down the trees first and put the safety of residents first.
