[55th session] Miho Elementary School cooperated with Midori Ward Food Drive!

　On Wednesday, March 9, 2022, a sixth grader from Miho Elementary School provided food (404 items, 74.25 kilograms) collected at school to Midori Ward Food Drive. Thank you very much for your support.

　Twenty-four sixth-year students who are working on the theme of “food loss” during their comprehensive study time learned that they are implementing a food drive in Midori Ward while studying initiatives such as supermarkets and producers to reduce food loss into local activities as well as schools.

　During the limited time of one and a half months from the end of January to graduation, when we started studying, we talked with each other about "when and where to bring food" and "who and how to disseminate" We have heard that we collected food for all school elementary school studenｔ in three days from February 28 to March 2.

　Toya Tsuchi Shida said, "On the food drive, we were able to respond to the people who delivered the food with a smile. It was good to be able to know the current situation of food loss and to contribute to the food loss problem in Miho's town. I hope that this activity will be continued next year and beyond. ".

　Having practiced activities in a short period of time and collecting such a large amount of food was certainly an unforgettable experience for elementary school studenｔ.
