　This is Nobuo Okada, the mayor of Midori. I arrived here in Midori Ward in April 2020, and this is my second year early. We look forward to your continued support.

　In April, it is time for colorful flowers to bloom. Along the rivers of the Onda River and the Tsurumi River, which are jogging on the riverbed on holidays, you can see the turf cherry blossoms planted by local residents blooming vivid pink flowers, and I feel the coming of spring.

　The new coronavirus infection has greatly changed the way of "daily life" so far.
　In fiscal 2020, various events were canceled, and there were very few opportunities to meet you directly, but in fiscal 2021, while firmly preventing infectious diseases, under a new lifestyle, We want to regain the liveliness of the region. We would like to thank the inhabitants of the ward for their understanding and cooperation to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, and to the people concerned, including medical care and nursing care.

　In 2021, Yokohama City will begin with vaccinations at facilities for the elderly in order to receive vaccinations for citizens. About inoculation for elderly person, we are going to send information sequentially from person 80 years or older in late April. The Midori Ward Office will firmly establish and work on it so that inoculation of inhabitants of a ward can be carried out smoothly.

　"Furusato Midori" is a town where the warm "connection" that the inhabitants of the ward have nurtured carefully live. As ward office will work together to take over this attractive town to the next generation, we look forward to your continued support this year.
