Along with this walking, a commemorative ceremony for the registration of the Midori Ward Heritage of the former Yamashita Elementary School Wooden School Building and School Gate was held by the community, and I was invited.

I am very pleased to have been able to register such a historic building that has been used in the area since it was built in 1972 as a Midori Ward heritage site.
Through this Midori Ward heritage walking and commemorative ceremony, I felt the local people's feelings and attachment to the hometown Midori Ward. The members of the Midori Ward Guide Volunteer Association, who was in charge of the walking guide, gave me a lot of explanations about the Midori Ward heritage and the history of temples and shrines. Thank you very much for protecting and nurturing the local attractions. I hope you will continue your activities.
