[24th meeting] Congratulations on the 50th anniversary of Takeyama!

We were invited to attend the "Takeyama 50th Anniversary Ceremony" held at Takeyama Elementary School on November 3 (Culture Day) and attended.
Prior to the ceremony, a performance by the Kamoi Junior High School brass band was performed as an opening ceremony. While group practice was not left due to the corona disaster, the performances that were finished on this day were perfect and very wonderful! "Furusato", which was played again at the encore, was just relaxing with songs suitable for celebrating "Furusato Takeyama".
At the ceremony, we received a letter of appreciation from Tsutomu Otani, Chairman of the Association of Self-Government in the Takeyama housing complex, which celebrated its 50th anniversary since the start of occupancy in 1970. I talked with Chairman Otani and everyone who received the award, and I was impressed by the unity that had built a community from scratch.
The operation of the ceremony, which is devised, such as limiting the number of attendees and ensuring social distance as a countermeasure against COVID-19 infection, will be one of the good examples of how local events should be held in the future.
Thanks to everyone in Takeyama for inviting me to the wonderful ceremony. We hope that the local people will continue to work hard for the development of the Takeyama area.
