In recognition of environmental beautification activities, two groups were awarded in Midori Ward. "Miyane housing complex Planting Group" was awarded the Yokohama Environmental Action Award for the Yokohama Environmental Action Award "Yokohama 3R Dream" Promoter Award.
Originally, a certificate of commendation will be awarded by the Governor of Kanagawa Prefecture and the The Mayor of Yokohama, but the award ceremony was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and on Monday, November 30, I communicated it to the representatives of each organization.

Since 1992, the “Flower Full Society” has been working on planting activities at Love Neil Bridge at Nakayama Station, the prefectural road Yamashita Nagatsuta Line, and Nakayama Junior High School, and elementary school student students at four elementary and junior high schools in Nakayama Junior High School District. We are working with teachers and local people.
I knew for the first time that the planting was planted neatly near the ward office as a result of the efforts of the members of the "Flower-filled society".

Since 2005, the "Miyane housing complex Planting Group" has been engaged in cleaning and planting trees, mainly in Miyane housing complex and housing complex.

After transmitting the certificate of commendation, we heard about the hardships of the activities.
Kazuko Yonekawa, the representative of the "Flower Full Society", said, "I am really happy to receive such an award in the milestone year of the 30th anniversary of my activities. Encouraged by this award, I would like to continue my activities in the hope of healthy upbringing of children. "
Takeo Kato, representative of the Miyane housing complex Planting Group, said, "Last year we cut down fallen trees due to typhoons. It is a steady activity, but it has been continued with the cooperation of many people. We are pleased with this award and want to continue our activities. "

Thank you very much to all the members of the Nakayama Junior High School District School Home Community Cooperation Project “Flower Full Meeting” and “Miyane housing complex Planting Group”. Congratulations on winning the award.
