[9th session] Participated in the corn harvesting experience

With the help of Kazuyoshi Okubo, a farmer, Kazuyoshi Okubo, Kamoi, the Midori Ward organized a lecture on local production for local consumption, entitled "Corn Harvesting Experience Summer Vegetables."

When we arrived at the site, the corn field with which stems stretched straight toward the sky spread all over, and I was overwhelmed by its power.
Participants, based on Okubo's advice, were looking for plump and sweet corn, and after harvesting, it was impressive that they brought back a lot of corn with a smile.
Unfortunately this year, we were unable to carry out the annual corn tasting to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, but we would be happy if we could provide an opportunity to convey the deliciousness of freshly harvested corn and the appeal of local production for local consumption.

In the future, Midori Ward will gradually resume events while taking measures to combat COVID-19.
