| Characteristics | In Japan for a long time, it has been treated as a sacred tree dedicated to the shrine shelf, "Kamiki" and "Antimi tree". As a result, it was avoided from bringing it into a general garden as garden trees and planting, and it seems that it was one of the factors that delays horticulture. Gardening has progressed in Western Europe, and at the end of the Meiji era, "Western rhododendron" came and became common. In the center, it can be seen under the site of a large greenhouse. |
