Features | Kanoko lily was named because it has a pattern like a deer squeezing inside the petals. In Japan, it grows naturally in Kyushu and Shikoku, and its flower color is white, pink, red, etc. The flowering time is from mid-July to August, which is slow in lilies. Siebold brought back the bulbs of Kanoko lily and bloomed in Western Europe. When Japanese lilies were introduced to Westerners for the first time, they were praised as the "queen of lilies" for their beauty. |
