Features

The characteristic of the willow is the stamen that protrudes in many ways. It is also called "biyo willow (beauty willow)" because the flowers are beautiful and the leaves resemble willows, and "Kinshikaidou" because the stamens are very noticeable.
The flowering season is from mid-June to mid-July. During the rainy season, enjoy the gorgeous Japanese willow besides hydrangea. It is now popular as street trees, garden trees, and ikebana, and can be seen in Environmental Activity Support Center under the site of a large greenhouse.
