| Characteristics | It is distributed all over Japan and grows in the sunny mountains. The height grows up to 1-2 meters, and the shape is similar to sugarcane, so it may be mistaken. Japanese pampas grass is used as a decoration for the moon viewing of the 15th night, and is also known for one of the seven herbs in autumn (Susuki, Hagi, Ominaeshi, Kuzu, Nadeshiko, Kikyo, Fujibakama). It is a plant that lets you know the coming of autumn. |
