CharacteristicsIt's also known as a squirrel. In the same genus, there is a Chinese carrot. Carrotboku leaves are similar to Korean ginseng leaves, and are named "carrot trees" because they are trees instead of grass. The name of Italian carrotboku is also derived from this. From late summer to autumn, pale purple ears-shaped flowers of about 15 cm in length bloom. Dried fruits have been used as substitutes for medicinal or pepper, but are now grown in health foods and herbal teas. In addition, it is cultivated for ornamental use because the flowers are beautiful and fragrant. In Environmental Activity Support Center you can see it at the entrance of the field.
