Set up a "Green Up Committee" at Yokodai 1-chome Neighborhood Associations to carry out the plan.

The “Green Up Committee” shall be an organization in which all members are interested in greenery, led by Neighborhood Associations officers and others.

The activities are to green the private land (slope land) next to the terrace of the Neighborhood Hall Terrace and the stairs, and provide residents with a place to relax. A lawn is laid on the terrace and wall greening will be installed on the fence.

By greening, local activities become active and the goal is to become a richer area.

With such greening initiatives as the first step, we will promote activities with a view to spreading greening on private land in the area. In addition, with the aging of the population, bulletin boards etc. will be used effectively in order to promote greening support activities for those who live alone and cannot care for the garden, and to recruit and nurture leaders in the activities.

In addition, in cooperation with elementary schools, we will conduct greening on elementary school slopes and greening activities using street tree basins on bus streets.
