Overview of Regional Greening Plan
[Planning name] See, eat, and experience the green at the festival! Exchange with green!
[Promotion organization name] Kirigaoka 6-chome town development promotion society, green up sectional meeting
[Overview of the Plan] (Excerpt from the Regional Greening Plan)
In private land greening, we plant citrus fruits, mainly lemons, which have become a symbol of the region and are easy to grow and can use fruit, and in horticultural workshops and flower planting activities, processing and sales workshops, harvest festivals, etc. Plant mainly plants such as herbs that can be used at events such as Below is an overview of each district's characteristics (in ““” is the theme for each district)
<A district, "Improve the face of 6-chome" (along the bus street north and south of the planned site)>
There is a typical bus stop at 6-chome, and it is a district that can be said to be the face of the area, but at present, the fence of the abandoned bicycle storage area is like a prison, so a planter is installed in an empty space and visitors can see it. By planting seasonal flowers and houseplants, we arrange it as a local face.
<B district, "Decorating the entrance of 6-chome with green" (Pedestrian arterial road along the western end of the planned site)>
At the entrance of 6-chome on the south side, which enters the area from District A, there is a rough open-field parking lot and a concrete fence, which is planted to hide it. In addition, the approach part of the residential land that enters a little from the entrance will increase the greenery seen from the road. On the bank on the sunny Kirigaoka High School side on the opposite side, citrus fruits are planted mainly of lemon trees. In the northern district, we will promote greening while listening to local voices from the next fiscal year, using the south side as a model.
<C district, “place of exchange, bright walking path” (promenade that runs east and west through the center of the planning area)>
At present, the promenade has a dense and dark image, so make sure to create a bright feeling centered on the flowering grass. The adjacent former Kirigaoka Daiichi Elementary School is scheduled to be open to the public on the premise of opening the area in the development of the site, so in the future we will ask developers to cooperate and plant lemons on the site and plant them together. A flower bed with a bench will be placed on the side of the promenade and at the entrance of the park, making it a place where residents can interact with each other.
<District, “Colorful and easy-to-living everyday” (Residential area in the planning area)>
We work with individual residents to promote greening of areas facing the road. We recruit houses to plant lemons and herbs and houses to install rainwater tanks, and install automatic water supply equipment to reduce the burden of watering. By increasing the greenery of the living space that you can usually see, we will add color to the lives of residents.
