[Summary of Plan] (Excerpted from the regional greening plan)

Kakinokidai has 2,348 households and a population of 5,258, and 22.5% of people aged 65 and over (average of 18.2% in Aoba Ward), increasing the number of people living alone. In five years, one in four people is expected to be elderly. On the other hand, there are many people who have a deep understanding of volunteers. "Regional Green Town Development" aims to build better communication and health of all ages using flowers and trees as tools, using "soil", which can be said to be the starting point of human activities. In addition, we aim at greening so that local people can become "Kakinokidai, a town that makes you want to walk and enjoy walking". Specifically, (1) local beautification activities and natural recycling soil through self-recycling soil through self-made compost (using kitchen garbage at home and fallen leaves of street trees) (2) Production of original flower boxes and bench (3) Planting 500 Zenjimaru persimmons (4) Develop a promenade centered on "Oyamayamado" (5) Aiming to conduct a greening contest. The ultimate goal is to make the entire town of Kakinokidai as a “Shin no Satoyama Park” in the neighboring area.
