Last update date April 1, 2024

Outline of regional greening plan

[Plan Name] Regeneration of landscape and biodiversity centered on Takeyama Pond
[Promotion organization name] Takeyama Pond Activation Promotion Committee
[Summary of Plan] (Excerpted from the regional greening plan)

In order to revive Takeyama Pond, which was once the center of life and relaxation, and its surroundings, do the following:
  1. Planting aquatic plants using floating islands, aiming to purify the water quality of the pond with aquatic plants, along with creating green landscapes.
  2. Appropriately managing bamboo forests, coppice forests, and grasslands on the west and south sides of Takeyama Pond, and planting aquatic plants near the seawall of the pond to create an eco-tone from the pond to the forest.
  3. As part of the pond's environmental conservation activities, biological surveys and water quality surveys are conducted.
  4. In the shopping street on the east side of Takeyama Pond, there is a planter where you can enjoy seasonal flowers to create a bright atmosphere.
Based on the above, we will regenerate the landscape and biodiversity of Takeyama Pond, the center of Takeyama housing complex, and revive it as Takeyama Pond.
