Overview of Regional Greening Plan

[Planning name] Regeneration of landscape and biodiversity centered on Takeyama Pond
[Promotion organization name] Takeyama Pond Surrounding Revitalization Promotion Committee
[Overview of the Plan] (Excerpt from the Regional Greening Plan)

In order to revive Takeyama Pond, which was once the center of life and a place for relaxation, and its surroundings, we will do the following.
  1. Plant aquatic plants using floating islands and aim to purify the water quality of the pond with aquatic plants in conjunction with the creation of a green landscape.
  2. In addition to properly managing bamboo forests, coppice forests, and grasslands on the west and south sides of Takeyama Pond, aquatic plants are planted near the revetment of the pond to create an eco-tone from the pond to the forest.
  3. Conduct biological surveys and water quality surveys as part of the conservation activities of the pond.
  4. In the shopping street on the east side of Takeyama Pond, a planter where you can enjoy seasonal flowers will be placed to create a bright atmosphere.
Based on the above, the landscape and biodiversity of Takeyama Pond, the center of Takeyama housing complex, will be regenerated and revived as Takeyama Pond, which is proud of the region.
