Outline of regional greening plan

[Plan Name] Plan to make Sakurazaka and Greenery in Higashitotsuka as symbols of the area 2
[Promotion organization name] "Meeting for Cherry Blossom Hill"
[Summary of Plan] (Excerpted from the regional greening plan)

There are three zones with different types of sunshine, drainage, vegetation, etc. We promote greening according to each characteristic and create a hill that will be a symbol of the area that local residents can enjoy throughout the four seasons.

  1. The cherry blossom scenery zone is on the eastern slope of the hill, where the road to Higashitozuka Station and the JR Line run side by side, and is a section where passers-by and passengers can enjoy greenery. We remove weeds and miscellaneous trees from former JR property and Doyashiki Park, revive the row of cherry trees, plant new flowering middle shrubs with flowers such as hydrangea, and increase the degree of perfection as a famous cherry blossom spot in the area.
  2. The Green Corridor Zone is a flatland on the north side of the hill, with the aim of creating a green corridor that will serve as a model of the region using flowers and trees, such as Neighborhood Associations, Maetamachi.
  3. The green exchange zone is a forest with a satoyama-like atmosphere through the sidewalk on the southern slope. Improve sunshine, create flower fields such as seedling fields and narcissus in unused areas, plant trees that wild birds and insects prefer, and interact with children and the elderly, condominium residents and local residents through greenery Create a place.
