In recent years, various activities utilizing Ookagawa have become active in this area. Over the years, the Neighborhood Associations, which borders the Ookagawa River, has collaborated to hold the Ookagawa Cherry Blossom Festival. Therefore, the Society's primary focus was on greening the public space facing Ookagawa as a place with a high effect of spreading awareness of greening throughout the region. Since there is a base for water activities in the area along the Ookagawa River, I think it is important to green the space facing Ookagawa in promoting the existence of greenery in the area. And we are planning to spread the significance of further greening by expanding the scope of maintenance from the public space of Ookagawa to private areas in the second and third years. Furthermore, by arranging greenery in buildings that have already been set up to contribute to greening, we aim to develop greening with a wide area vertically and create a visual effect.
