[People living outside the city] Obtain a copy of the family register tag at a convenience store

This is a procedure for people living outside the city to obtain a copy of the family register tag at a convenience store grant. It can be used by people who have a My Number Card with permanent domicile in the city. We accept from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. It can be issued on the same day. For the first time, you need to apply for registration in advance.

People who can use it

A person who has a permanent domicile in Yokohama and has a My Number Card that stores an electronic certificate for user certification

Precautions

  • The convenience store grant service is available only to the person who has a My Number card.
  • Those who are registered as residents outside Yokohama City need to apply for use registration in advance. It takes up to 5 days to register for use.
  • Please note that if a family register notification such as birth or marriage registration form, it will take a certain period of time before it is reflected on the family register certificate. For more information, please contact the City Office.

Precautions

  • family register's tags cannot be obtained.
  • For copies of family register's tag, which omits the display of the name of permanent domicile and the name of the first person is omitted, his change may not be displayed correctly. Please respond to his change by obtaining and certifying all family register (individual) matters certificate. Application for use registration (only for the first time)

For the first time, you need to apply for registration in advance. It takes about 5 days to register for use.

    People who need to register for use again

    Once you have registered for use, you do not need to apply each time you use it. However, those who fall under the following will need to register again.

    • Person who changed permanent domicile out of the ward
    • A person who has updated the digital certificate
    • Person who updated my number card

    Application time

    From 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
    (On the fourth Wednesday of odd months is from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, excluding holidays, New Year's holidays, and system suspension days)

    Application method

    You can apply in one of the following two ways. For details, please see how to obtain family register certification for your permanent address (external site).

    • Convenience store multi-copy machine (My number card and PIN (4 digits) of digital certificate for user certification are required)
    • PC (My Number Card, PIN (6-16 digits) of digital certificate for signature, IC card reader)

    ※You can't apply from a smartphone.

    Confirmation of examination status

    You can check it in one of the following two methods.

    • Personal computer
    • Smartphone

    You will need the application number displayed at the time of registration application. The application number cannot be given by Yokohama City.
    From a PC or smartphone, you can check the examination status from the usage registration status confirmation page (external site).

    Precautions

    • Convenience store grant service is not available with Basic Resident Register card and private seal registration card.
    • Convenience store issuance service cannot be used after the expiration date of the digital certificate of My Number Card.
    • It cannot be used on the day you receive your My Number Card. Please note that you will be able to use it from the day after you receive it. (Depending on data link to the convenience store delivery system due to the rapid increase in the number of My Number Card issued, the convenience store delivery service on the next day cannot be used, and it may take about 2 business days to use.)

    ※It cannot be used on weekends, holidays, and New Year's holidays (December 29 to January 3).

    Fees

    250 yen per copy

    Precautions

    • Fees cannot be refunded or certificates cannot be exchanged.
    • Certificates that fall under the fee exemption rules cannot be handled. Please use the ward office and administrative service corner.

    How to operate the multi-copy machine

    Precautions

    • The PIN when issuing the certificate is issued is the PIN (4 digits) of the digital certificate for user certification.
    • Please note that if you enter your PIN incorrectly three times in a row, you will not be able to use it.
    • It will take some time for the certificate to be printed, so please do not leave until you receive the certificate.

    Notice

    The contents of the family register tag have changed since January 11, 2022.

    Due to the revision of the the Law of the Basic Resident Registers, the date of birth and gender will be newly recorded on the family register tag from January 11, 2022 (excluding family register tags that were rejected before the effective date).
    In addition, in principle, the display of "permanent domicile / First Name" is omitted for a copy of the family register tag. If you would like to see it, please indicate this on the invoice.
    In addition, regarding the copy of the family register's tag, which omits the display of the name of permanent domicile, the name of the first person is omitted.     About remodeling

    Yokohama City remodeled the family register tag on July 19, 2008 in conjunction with the renovation of the family register. family register's tag before remodeling (remodeled original tag) was discarded on February 23, 2015 because the storage period has passed.
