The Mayors' Association of Designated City (Chairman: The Mayor of Yokohama Fumiko Hayashi) has been advocating the early realization of various metropolitan systems such as special self-governing cities.
This time, we will establish a "Diverse Large City System Realization Project" in order to formulate a draft for the legislation of the "Special Self-Government Municipal System" and make proposals to the national and political parties.
In the future, we will have academics participate as advisors, and we will proceed with the development of drafts for the legislation of the "special self-government municipal system".
