About establishment of designated city mayor society "multiple big city system realization project"

The Designated City Mayors' Association (Chairman: The Mayor of Yokohama Fumiko Hayashi) has been proposing "early realization of a variety of large city systems, including special autonomous cities," and has been conducting requests for national governments.
We will set up a "diverse metropolis system realization projects" in order to formulate drafts for the legislation of the "special autonomous city system" and make proposals to the country and political parties.
In the future, academics will also participate as advisors, and we will proceed with the development of drafts for the legislation of the "Special Autonomous City System".
