On February 1, 2022, Yokohama City launched a system to certify condominiums that are implementing disaster prevention measures as "Yokohama Disaster Prevention Power Improvement Condominiums". Four existing condominiums that have been applied have been “certified” and two newly built apartments have been “planned”.
