Yokohama City has selected excellent technical workers who contribute to the lives and culture of citizens as "Yokohama Meister" since 1996, and 70 Yokohama Meisters have been born so far.
In order to promote skilled workers, Yokohama Meister conducts activities to foster younger generations at each skilled organization, and also conducts activities to widely communicate the importance and splendor of handwork and manual work to society through hands-on classes and lectures.
We are recruiting Yokohama Meisters for 2024 as follows, so if you are interested, please apply.
