Through their main business and other activities, Yokohama City and the Yokohama Corporate Management Support Foundation certifies companies engaged in community contribution activities as "Yokohama-style community contribution companies" based on certain standards, and are engaged in businesses that support sustainable growth and development of companies.
In the first half of fiscal 2023, eight companies were newly certified, and the number of certified companies was 464.
Furthermore, on October 1, a new registration system, "Yokohama Regional Contribution Declaration Company", will be launched to support a wide range of companies engaged in community contribution activities.
