I ・ TOP Yokohama Lab "Smart Agriculture in Urban Areas" Demonstration experiments have started on farmland in the city.

As part of the ITOPI Yokohama Lab, Yokohama City recruited proposals from January to February 2023, and six proposals were adopted in March.
At two farmland sites in Yokohama City, we have begun demonstration experiments on future farms using automated driving robots and VR, and remote monitoring of bird and animal capture status using traps that have been installed.
Of these, future farms using automatic driving robots and VR will be carried out using farmland with the cooperation of JA Yokohama. JA Yokohama supports technology development in smart agriculture and agritech field, and is promoting initiatives to increase the value of Yokohama agriculture by improving productivity and production quality.
For other projects, demonstration experiments will begin as soon as adjustments and preparations are made for implementation.
