Oyama Road Signpost (Registration No. 018) Registration in 2017
About Oyama Road Signpost
It is Koshin Tower built by Konaka Umeda in 1849 at the end of the Tokugawa period.
It is a signpost engraved for people heading to Oyama when the Oyama religion was prosperous. The Koshin Tower is engraved with "Oyama Michi" on the left and "Sakuba Michi" on the right.
Sakuba (Sazaba) shows the agricultural land at the time, and Sakuba Michi was a dead end on farmland, and it was a signpost for those who went to the Oyama Road to make a mistake.
At present, throughout the year, the Miho Citizen's Forest Protection Association is mowing the area around Koshin Tower and clean fallen leaves on roads.
