About the signpost of the former Oyama Road and the Kanagawa Road Branch
At the branch of the former Oyama Road and the Kanagawa Road, there is a stone Buddha that was famous in the Edo period.
The stone Buddha's pedestal is engraved with "Mukote right Rikana River left Misonoguchi", which is a signpost indicating the branch.
It exists as a kind of traffic sign at that time, and is said to have been a guide for people who come and go on the mountain path and Kanagawa road.
