Shirayama Shrine's "Monument of Shintoku" was selected as a monument to the shrine completed in January 1937, by the resources collected mainly by the shrine's pupils.
The monument states that the shrine, which was a village shrine in Shimo-Saruyama (currently around the Hakusan area), was devastated by the Great Kanto Earthquake and other disasters, and that the region cooperated and revived more than 10 years later, The awe of the sanctuary is written and conveys the history.
