About the ruins of Nenbutsu Bridge on the Onda River

The current Oyamabashi was called "Nenbutsubashi" before the 1965 era.
Inmu Hoin (1435-1519, from Musashi Kunikubo (currently Miho-cho, Midori-ku)), who worked as a priest at Kango-ji Temple (677-9 Oyama-cho, Midori-ku) during the Muromachi period, chanted a memorial Buddha and alms. It is said that Tsuchihashi was built on the Onda River for the traffic of people.
Infuji Hoin has left many books and trained disciples at Kango-ji Temple. It is said that he especially liked reading, and when traveling on a small cow, he wore a writing table on the saddle, a sutra on the corner, sang a sutra, and sang poems.
