About Shinmei Tando Falls
Waterfalls in the Shinmei Tando area of Miho-cho have been worshiped near the irrigation water intake weir built on the Umeda River, praying that the water essential for rice cultivation is constant.
In the Edo period, Shimizu springs out of the mountain behind, and the area where the weir was located became a waterfall, and it flowed into the river, so it seems that it was called "Otaki-sama".
Both weirs and waterways were made into concrete in the early Showa era, but after that, a large amount of water was poured to moisten the fields for a long time.
At present, the weir has finished its role and the statue of Fudo Myo remains.
