About Mr. Kubo Tando Falls
The Ichijo Falls, which used to be in the former Kubo Village, attracted great respect from farmers as a subject of nature worship.
It is reported that during the drought in Bunsei 4 (1821), the prayer of the rain was fulfilled, and a statue of Fudo statue was built.
Water is not flowing now, but it was originally a water source for irrigation. In the past, a large amount of water was flowing down from the cliff. It is also reported that a high priest of the Muromachi period, Infusion Hoin, trained at this waterfall.
It is kept in a beautiful condition by regular cleaning activities by everyone during the course of Otaki-sama.
The waterfall, surrounded by deep greenery and clear streams on a sparse river path, quietly watches the peace, security and fellowship in the area.
