About the monument of Ukyonoshin Castle Ruins

Yamada Ukyonoshin Castle Ruins Monument is located at Kuboyama Old Castleji Temple in Miho Town. It is said that this land had the castle of Ukyono Susumu Yamada in ancient times.
During the Muromachi period, the castle built by Noriyoshi Uesugi using natural hills was said to be Enoki Shimojo. The castle owner of Enoki Shimojo is unknown since Norinao, the castle owner at the time, was defeated by the rebellion of Eikyo and self-determined at Kanazawa Shomeiji Temple, but even in the era of Hojo Odawara Hojo It is also thought that it played the role of departure.
Later, in Keicho 19 (1614), the old castle temple was founded by the will of the head of Kubo Village.
This place is a valuable historical heritage that retains the remains of the Middle Ages, one of the few castles in the city, and the forest is designated as a prefecture designated natural monument.
