[54th meeting] Midori Ward Photo Contest 2023 Awards Ceremony was held.

The award ceremony for the Midori Ward Photo Contest 2023 was held at the Midori Ward Office on Monday, March 11th.

This year's theme was "Flower, Greenery, and Agriculture in Midori Ward -GREEN x EXPO 2027 -", and selected 5 prizes and 14 honorable mentions from 203 works, together with Yokohama's leading photographer, and Take Kimura, chairman of the Midori Ward Union Autonomous Region.

I saw all the works in the judging, but unfortunately all of them, including works that did not win the award, were really beautiful, and it was just surprising that "Is such a landscape was in the ward?" The inhabitants of the ward felt that each had their favorite places and scenery of Midori Ward.

Along with Mr. Kimura, Mr. Kimura gave a certificate of merit to the winners, he was able to hear about episodes when he photographed his work and his enthusiasm for the future. For the International Horticultural Exposition to be held in Kamiseya in 2027, I was able to once again feel the charm of Midori Ward's charm of greenery, nature and agriculture.
