[35th session] Attended the graduation ceremony of the Midori "People and Town"

On Saturday, November 11, 2023, green "person, town" school completion ceremony was held in 2023.
In the 18th ward of Yokohama, we are developing a collaborative community development University. In Midori Ward, classes are held under the name of the Green "People and Town" School. At the ceremony, 12 students from the 9th term were handed a certificate of completion from Yoshihiko Nawada, a professor of the Faculty of Law, Hosei University, who is the president of the school.
In a reply from the 9th grade representative, he said, "I came to Midori Ward and happened to drop in and learned about the" People and Town "school at" Walking Cafe ". I had a vague desire to contribute to society, but I didn't know what to do. However, at school, I met wonderful people who listened to my favorite story of "remote island" interestingly and positively, and I wanted to create a place to talk about "remote island" I was able to draw. "
I was happy to hear that the connection at the school triggered local activities, and that the school's "learning in the community and making friends" was realized.
　
At the "Dream Plan" presentation, the plans created by each of the 9th term students were talked about, and passion wrapped the venue. "Let's become a good old man!" I realized that what each student can do and what they want to do, such as "Mind Course for Moms", "I am the edge of the community", and "Immediate Neighborhood Association with a low threshold". It was a presentation.
I hope that 9th-year students will be able to slowly warm up their own plans while slowly warming up their plans. We look forward to your continued success as a local leader.
