On November 15th, a ceremony was held in Kenmin Hall, Kanagawa Prefecture, and 10 members of the Midori Ward were commended for their many years of achievement.
Congratulations to all of you who have received this award.
Prior to the award ceremony, we visited the park where the winners were active, saw the activities, and listened to the story. He said, "I'm picking up stones every day because it's dangerous if my children are injured," and "It's custom to come every day." I was really down to be able to clean it myself. "
138 protection associations have been formed in 150 parks in the city, and they are engaged in activities such as patrols, cleaning, and mowing. While the budget of Yokohama City is severe, the members of the protection society together with the government, manage the park as a local treasure.
Those who have been awarded this time are those who have been active in the community for many years. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
