[9th session] We toured MIDORI CLUB!

On Monday, June 5, we toured "MIDORI CLUB" held at Tokaichiba Community Care Plaza sponsored by Yokohama YMCA.
This is a `` gathering place '' where evacuees from Ukraine staying in the city can exchange and exchange information in their native language and ask questions about what they do not understand while living in Japan. . At the venue, there will be Ukrainian books, Japanese picture books with Ukrainian translations, games and puzzles.
On this day, I played a "shabu-turning" game with the Ukrainian children using the picture card of Hyakunin Isshu. Even if you couldn't read Japanese characters, it was a play that you could see it as soon as you could see it with a picture, and there was an unexpected big loss on the way.
Also, in the cooking room next door, the participants worked with the staff to make a Ukrainian dish similar to dumplings.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff and volunteers who support the participants. Although the situation remains extremely difficult in Ukraine, I wanted to increase the number of times the refugees can spend time with smiles in Midori Ward.
