[3rd session] Shibazakura on the riverbed of the Tsurumi River near Kamoi Station is blooming beautifully.

On Tuesday, April 18, we went to the riverbed of the Tsurumi River near Kamoi Station to see turf cherry blossoms. This moss phlox is planted by the members of the Midori, River and Wind Association, who regularly engages in activities such as cleaning and planting flowers.

Just as the best time to see, the turf cherry blossoms blooming all over were very worth seeing. It was also explained that many plants grow native to the surrounding riverbed. Although it is an urban area where there are large commercial facilities such as "La La Port Yokohama", it is a valuable place where you can feel rich nature close to the station.

The Green River and Winds Association organizes events to make people feel familiar with the Tsurumi River so that people can think of Midori Ward is their hometown. During the consecutive holidays in May, a canoe experience session will be held, but it seems that the frame was very popular and the frame was quickly filled.
