[18th meeting] Attended the 3rd Yokohama Construction Industry Association Midori Ward Association Young and Female Employee Awards Ceremony

Since fiscal 2021, the Yokohama Construction Industry Association Midori Ward Association and Midori Public Works Office have independently commended the contributions of young female employees of the ward association to public works projects in the city.
This year, the award ceremony was held on Thursday, August 3, and I have attended.
Three people were commended on this day for their efforts to improve the quality control of construction, prevent accidents, and careful local coordination for smooth construction. For those who were awarded, I paid tribute to their attitude, and I congratulated them.

Most recently, the residents of the ward council responded quickly, such as the cliffs of Hakusan and the fallen trees of Kita Hassaku. In the past, I had been working with the Yokohama Construction Industry Association many times in the event of a disaster in Housing and Architecture Bureau. I feel that the ward council members support Yokohama's infrastructure in various situations, regardless of normal disasters.
In the construction industry, the shortage of workers is also an issue, and we hope that such awards will lead to an improvement in the skills and motivation of those who will lead the future.

Congratulations on today. And I hope that you will continue to make efforts for the development of Yokohama City.
