Changes in social change and natural increase in the population of Yokohama City
The population increase in 2020 (Reiwa 2) was 5,278.
If this is divided into social change and natural change (* 1), the social change has increased by 13,481 and the natural change has decreased by 8,203.
Looking at changes in social changes in the population, the social decline decreased from 1994 to 1995, but after 1996, it increased and increased by 23,376 in 2001 (2001). Since then, the range of the increase has been on a downward trend, but it has been on an upward trend since 2012, and in 2020 (Reiwa 2), the social increase of 13,481 people has increased.
Looking at the changes in the natural increase and decrease in the population, it turned into a natural decrease in 2016 (Heisei 2), and a natural decrease of 8,203 in 2020 (Reiwa 2). (Figure 1-1-2)
※1) The number of social increases refers to the social dynamics, which are the movements of the population associated with moving in and out for a certain period of time. The formula is "the number of social increases = the number of transfers-the number of transfers-the number of transfers-the number of transfers-the number of transfers-other changes in the Basic Resident Register, etc., ex officio changes due to the description, deletion, or amendment of resident certificate."
The natural increase is the natural dynamics that are the movements of the population associated with birth and death over a certain period of time. The formula is "Naturally additional number = number of births-number of deaths".
