Naka Ward Barrier-Free Basic Concept

 In accordance with the Barrier-Free Law, Yokohama City has created a basic concept to promote barrier-free so that everyone, including those who are raising children, can move smoothly and use stations and facilities in Naka Ward. In the future, each company will create a business plan based on this basic concept and carry out the business sequentially.

Details of the study

In preparing the Basic Plan for Barrier-Free, we established the Naka Ward Subcommittee, which consists of academics, welfare-related organizations, regional representatives, businesses, and government officials.

1st ward meeting [October 14, 2020]

In addition to introducing the "Barrier-Free Law" and the "Barrier-Free Basic Concept", we exchanged opinions on the current situation around each station, life-related facilities and life-related routes. .

Town walk inspection / workshop [November 27, December 7, December 10, 2020]

The committee members actually checked the site and compiled the issues.

Opinion offer about barrier-free [December 1, Reiwa 2-January 29, Reiwa 3]

Opinions were raised on barrier-free in the area around Kannai Station, Sakuragicho Station, Bashamichi Station, Nihon-odori Station, and Isezaki-Chojamachi Station. Thank you very much for your cooperation.

2nd ward assembly [November 15, 2021]

We arranged results of "opinion offer about barrier-free" and "town walk inspection, workshop" and examined desirable correspondence (plan) based on opinion.

3rd Ward Meeting [March 17, 2022]

About desirable correspondence (plan) based on opinion, we coordinated with company and proposed basic design draft based on the result.
