Isogo Ward Barrier-Free Basic Concept

Based on the Barrier-Free Law, Yokohama City has created a basic concept to promote barrier-free so that everyone, including the elderly, disabled and children, can move smoothly and use stations and facilities in Isogo Ward. In the future, each company will create a business plan based on this basic concept and carry out the business sequentially.

About Negishi Station area, around Isogo Station / folding screenura Station area, around Sugita Station / Shinsugida Station area
Negishi Station has the second largest number of passengers after Shinsugida Station in the ward, adjacent to the station area of Isogo Station, and forms a continuous area with administrative and medical facilities located between them.
Isogo Station is the nearest station to the ward office, and there are high local needs such as barrier-free in front of the station and creating bustle, and folding screenura Station forms an integrated station area with Isogo Station.
In the area around Sugita Station and Shin-Sugita Station, we will review the basic concept that has been created in order to achieve gradual and continuous development (spiral up).
Details of the study
In preparing the Basic Plan for Barrier-Free, we established the Isogo Ward Subcommittee, which consists of academics, welfare-related organizations, regional representatives, businesses, and government officials.

The first ward meeting [October 16, 2019]
In addition to introducing the "Barrier-Free Law" and the "Barrier-Free Basic Concept", we exchanged opinions on the current situation around each station, life-related facilities and life-related routes. .
Opinion offer about barrier-free [from December 2 of the first year to January 31 of Reiwa 2]
Opinions were raised on barrier-free in the area around Negishi Station, Isogo Station, Foldingoura Station, Sugita Station, and Shinsugida Station. Thank you very much for your cooperation.

In addition to the members of the ward club, we actually checked the site and compiled the issues.

We arranged results of "opinion offer about barrier-free" and "town walk inspection, workshop" and examined desirable correspondence (plan) based on opinion.

3rd Ward Meeting [January 14, 2022]
About desirable correspondence (plan) based on opinion, we coordinated with company and proposed basic design draft based on the result.
