Last Updated June 19, 2024

In Yokohama City, based on the "Law Concerning the Promotion of Smooth Movement Using Public Transport for the Elderly and Disabled" [commonly known as the Traffic Barrier-Free Law], the elderly and users, including the disabled, have formulated a basic concept so that everyone can move and use it smoothly.
The procedure for submitting this basic concept to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, etc. was carried out in accordance with the current "New Barrier-Free Law", but the examination is carried out in accordance with the old "Traffic Barrier-Free Law".
