Midori Ward Barrier-Free Basic Concept

Based on the Barrier-Free Law, Yokohama City has created a basic concept to promote barrier-free so that everyone, including the elderly, disabled, and those raising children, can move smoothly and use stations and facilities in Midori Ward. In the future, each company will create a business plan based on this basic concept and carry out the business sequentially.

Details of the study

In preparing the Basic Plan for Barrier-Free, we have established the Midori Ward Subcommittee, which consists of academics, welfare-related organizations, regional representatives, businesses, and government officials.

1st ward assembly [February 1, 2022]

In addition to introducing the "Barrier-Free Law" and the "Barrier-Free Basic Concept", we exchanged opinions on the current situation around each station, life-related facilities and life-related routes. .

We coordinated with the company about the desirable response (draft) based on the opinion, and proposed the basic design draft based on the results.
